EARLY QING DYNASTY Of waisted rectangular section, the censer finely cast in high relief with mythical beast, dragon, white tiger, bird and sea beast galloping across turbulent waves on the four sides, flanked by a pair of animal heads handles, supported on four slightly flared feet, the domed openwork cover similarly decorated beneath the tall finial surmounted by a crouching recumbent beast exposing its sharp canine incisors, the bottom with a six character reign mark.
