Chu Teh-chun's paintings share the same magical powers with Chinese traditional landscape paintings, they can bring their viewers to a brand new world, through Chu Teh-chun's brush style and the use of colors, he opened a door to a world of pure art, he discovered the world through the lines and brush strokes, and found purity and beauty, he travels in that world, and sets the viewers free, makes them comfortable, gives them excitements, to an extent, his paintings are poetic and selfless, he completely immersed in the world of his creation, although it's a world created by paints on the canvas. However the picture showed a sincere world of Chinese landscape, to a Chinese, it is especially traditional, and familiar.

Finished in 2001, in "Sous Les Voûtes de La Terre" he used two techniques, one is dots, either big or small, he added water to the ink and make the water permeate through ink; the other is the lines created by using of a Chinese writing brush, it's a contrast to the big and small dots, through ink in different hues and width, he made the whole picture lively and abstractive. Upon first view, they look like mountains, waters, trees and stones, some places even look like flower and fruits, but major abstractive; in other words, many consider there is a gap between Chinese and western paintings, but the gap disappeared in his work, he had built a bridge for Chinese and western traditions.
