+ OVERVIEW

He was born in Tainan in 1991, After graduating from the Master of Visual Art in Taipei University, he went to Japan to obtain a Master of Art Administration G.A.P. During university, he also studied Chinese literature and was deeply influenced by poetry, hence he excels at creating images and poems. He believes creation is the way to communicate with the world, therefore he has been writing poems and making paintings to connect with the outside world. He said, "I am convinced that things which are in their purest forms are indeed most frequently ignored by us." His early works apply large number of symbolic characters, which filled with childhood memories, such as teddy bear, antique toy, graffiti painting, dressing costume in amusement park, they are all full of fun. In 2015, he held solo exhibition "Dream" from his Bear Series in Huashan 1914 Creative Park, Taipei. In 2017, he created works different from the past, he tried to use oily, soft pastel, acrylic pigment and collage in the painting, through intuitive lines to express the narrative picture. The artist called upon the inner child of every viewers, in the meantime he also becomes a child himself in the process of artistic thinking, placing viewers in the midst of interactive relations and emotional feelings, leading viewers to enter the self-cultivation path. His work is collected by the Lih Pao Cultural & Arts Foundation.
