Chinese established artist Jiang Naijun was born in Shanghai in 1971 and graduated from the Shanghai Art Academy. He currently lives and works in Shanghai. He has hosted numerous solo exhibitions, and his works are widely collected by institutions and individuals in Germany, France, China, Taiwan, and other locations. In recent years, Jiang has concentrated on his 'Code of Error' series, which blends Chinese characters, traditional landscapes, and elements of internet pop culture. These textual symbols and artworks are invigorating, creating a distinctive aesthetic form and cultural value. Simultaneously, he incorporates internet buzzwords that prompt us to ponder: Is the existence of chaotic code merely a random combination of characters born from machine program errors, or is it, in fact, the most coherent expression of contemporary human anxieties and confusion?
