The cup has a body of globular form standing on a flared foot, finely enameled in cobalt blue on the body with centralized dianthus borne of a leafy undulating stem, below double bands at the rim. The base of the cup and the flaring foot are decorated with frieze of florets, undulating scrolls and lappets on the three registers, the footring left unglazed.
