Born in Miyazaki Prefecture, Japan,Satoru Koizumi completed his master's degree at Okinawa University of Arts, the Plastic Art Program. In 2010, he published a series of hand-carved figures about children dressed animal costumes, but with full of confusions and loneliness in their eyes. Koizumi describes the loneliness of everyone's heart under all lovely surfaces. He participated many international exhibitions, as KIAF, Art Fair Tokyo 2011 and Art Stage Singapore 2012.
