Born in 1981, Lu Hao-Yuan graduated from National Taipei University of the Art. He is known of his use of realism as his expression. Hao-Yuan has been active in the Taiwanese art for a long time, with not only many exhibitions experiences but also collected by the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Art. The people around him are often the subjects in Hao-Yuan's paintings. His creations have always revolved and expanded from his own world and life experiences. The subjects he depicts are never crafted for technical process, nor intends to delve the painting itself. Viewers simply need to feel the dialogue between themselves and the artwork. Also, at this point, the artwork is truly complete. The five pieces from the "Baby" series in this auction come from the period when the artist focused on depicting familiar family members and friends.
