Katharina Arndt born in 1981, lives and works in Berlin and Barcelona. She studied at Braunschweig School of Art and achieved her Master by Jon Armleder. She uses glossy texture to represent our plastic and materialistic culture. The artist exaggerates and ironizes the contemporary mass consumerist aesthetic of a decadent, abundant society. Arndt has participated in solo and group exhibitions in Barcelona, Berlin, Copenhagen, among others.
