Born in Fuzhou, Fujian Province in 1949, Feng Zhijie is a famous Shoushan stone sculptor. He loves stone, especially tianhuang, and almost all of his works are round sculptures. In the 1980s, Feng traveled to Hong Kong and settled there in order to seek artistic breakthroughs. Influenced by the status quo of tianhuang works, he made up his mind to bring back the glory of round sculptures.
