South Korean artist Hwang JiHyun who born in 1981, Ph.D Graduate School of Fine Arts Dongduk Women’s University, is now residing and working in her home country, she directs her artistic focus towards the themes of women’s independent lives, and the intricate spectrum of emotions embedded in individual life experiences. With interest in navigating the complexities of her identity as both a woman and an artist, Hwang JiHyun seeks to find a comfortable equilibrium through her paintings. The artist is active in South Korea with solo and group exhibitions. Her works have been collected by Pfizer Inc-Korea, New Korea Country Club and Jeonwon Design Architect Company Co. Lt.
