Roby Dwi Antono was born in Ambarawa, Indonesia in 1990. He is a surrealist artist of the young generation. Antono is known for his rich, smooth, color-infused brushstrokes depicting a myriad of symbolic icons from rabbits and little girls to sentai superheroes and marine species. He has participated in Art Fair Philippines 2021, ARTJOG 2020, SCOPE Miami Beach 2019, Moniker Art Fair 2019, Discovery Art Fair Frankfurt 2019, Art Fair Tokyo 2018, etc. His exhibitions include: "Curiosities - Roby Dwi Antono, Yokoyama Yoshiko Duo show" (Galerie Stephanie, Philippines, 2021), "Lucid Fragments" (Srisasanti Syndicate, Yogyakarta, Indonesia, 2021), "Criminal Lullabies - Roby Dwi Antono, Maxine Syjuco Duo show" (2018) and "Southern Monster, Northern Child" (2016), etc.
