+ OVERVIEW
Russian artist Boris Chemetov, his growth stage coincided with the period of the alternation of the old and new social orders around the First World War. Chemetov moved to Paris in 1933. After the war, Paris was permeated with progressive thoughts such as science, freedom, and democracy. As a result, Paris described by him was fresh and full of vitality. Chemetov's works are influenced by Russian Constructivism and Picasso's Cubism style, and the paintings have a sense of color rhythm like collage.
