PROVENANCE:

Former collection of Mr. Bob Brodach, 1960s until 1995 (Met Shiy at a party in the Vatican embassy in 1968 and later on purchased this painting at a gallery in Taipei.)

Private collection, USA (acquired directly from Mr. Brodach's widow in 2006)
