The brush pot is of cylindrical form with a frieze below the mouth rim, the sides carved with a continuous scene of egrets perching upon an intricate network of gnarled branches and flowering prunus, all set in between a band of spiral motif below the mouth rim and the foot resembling protruding rockworks.
