QIANLONG AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-1795) Deeply carved with Manjusri seated in dyyanasaria on a double lotus pedestal, holding a lotus stem flowering at both sides of his shoulder, dressed in a dhoti, further adorned with a flowing scarf and beaded jewelry, his face modelled with a benevolent expression below an elaborate five panel crown toppled with a dome shaped knob, the charming stele bordered with an undulating motif in between two bands of raised circles, the reverse with further inscriptions.
