A WHITE JADE FIGURE OF MAGU QING DYNASTY
Finely modeled in the form of a standing figure of a female immortal, dressed in a voluminous robe falling in neat folds, holding in her right hand a fruiting branch extending to three luscious peaches on her back, the other hand with a lubed straw basket overflowing with lingzhi sprigs, the stone of an even pale celadon tone. The present lot depicts Magu on her way to attend the banquet of the Queen Mother of the West holding a basket filled with lingzhi.
