+ OVERVIEW
Among all of No2Good’s artworks, his most representational one is the mouse with huge ears, Mousy. The 94-centimeters tall action figures of Mousy came from the artist’s 2010 collection “transformation series”, remodeling the figures into Spongebob, Pink Panther, and many other famous cartoon characters. Mousy is a symbol of the artist himself during childhood. No2Good explained: “The huge ears are designed to listen to adults, but Mousy was punished due to disobedience. Therefore, one of its ears is wrapped with a bandage."“The big eyes symbolize curiosity about the world, but, under academic pressure, the mouse studied hard and began to wear glasses.” Through Mousy cosplaying other cartoon characters, the artist portrayed Mousy’s various styles and also expressed how most people have multiple roles in daily life, social media, and virtual games.
