Niu Ge, also known as Li Keng Kong, was born in the year of Ox, thus got this pen name Niu Ge (Mr Ox). He was a well-known comic and storywriter, born in Hong Kong with family from Guangdong Panyu. He arrived in Taiwan in 1949 and devoted his life as an author and wrote at least 80 mystery detective stories and fiction based on real life society. In 1954, Niu Ge wrote A Matter of Time, which were filmed in 5 different versions on screen.
