Nat Meade grew up in Portland, Oregon and now lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. He received his BFA from the University of Oregon in 2001, MFA from Pratt Institute in 2007. His paintings depict multiple subject matter and often explores male archetypes. These figures stand in for Meade's own open questions regarding his relationship with manhood, adulthood, and fatherhood. His works have been exhibited in the gallery or art fair in New York, Portland, Miami or Oregon.
