Hee Rin Yang was born in Korea in 1975 and graduated from Yeungnam University. She is used to interpreting her own opinion on current events, fashion and sport by childlike style paintings. She paints pleasing characters with abounding colors and messages. Hee Rin continuously employs the idea that people are sometimes lost in life but still chasing after their dreams in her artworks. Therefore, this makes people into wanderers, trying hard to find the correct path that leads to accomplishment. The artist started hosting her solo exhibitions in 2013 at Toma Gallery, Daegu. Later, in 2017 and 2019, she also hosted two exhibitions at Dongje Museum, Daegu. Recently, she hosted another exhibition at Alloro Gallery, Seoul. She has also participated in several group exhibitions in Korea, France, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.
