WU Zheng 吳徵

Wu Zheng, also known as Daiqiu, was a painter during the late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China period. He was one of the founders of the Xiling Seal Society. In 1946, he became a director of the Shanghai Art Association, and in 1947, he participated with Yan Wenliang, Zhang Daqian, and others in the establishment of the Shanghai Art Museum. Skilled in painting landscapes and flowers, he specialized in the style of Lou Dong school. He was celebrated as the "Four Wus of Jiangnan" in Shanghai.
