Born in 1979, Shenyang, Liaoning province. You Jin graduated from Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts (BFA); he currently works and lives in Beijing. His major exhibitions include: “Chaotic Code”(2008), New Age Gallery, Beijing, “Continue Chaotic”(2009), EGG Gallery, Beijing, “Lost In Desire” (2011), Opera Gallery, Geneva, Switzerland, and “Alternative Space LOOP” in 2016. You Jin is actively engaged in the international art scene and has held various solo/ group exhibitions in Shanghai, Moscow, Taiwan, Berlin, Florida, Miami, London, Singapore, Jakarta, Seoul, and Hong Kong. He is one of the major artists among young contemporary Chinese painters.
